Our choir has been making exciting progress in rehearsals for Gioachino Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, which we will present in a joint concert with Crieff Choral this April. This remarkable work, by turns playful, intimate, and deeply expressive, has offered both musical challenges and rich rewards as we explore its many contrasts.

Working toward a shared performance with our partner choir has added an extra sense of momentum and collaboration. Each rehearsal brings new insights, and the growing cohesion between voices is a clear sign of the progress being made.
